On the day before his wedding, an orphan writer meets an older woman, also an artist, who may be his mother. By the time they discover their possible relation, though, they have already developed a deep fascination, even a love for each other.

With only twenty-four hours before the wedding, these lovers have to decide how or whether they are free to pursue their attraction—and if they decide to, what demons they are willing to confront.

The Old and Immaculate Pedigree has been workshopped at the Vermont Playwrights Circle and the Northampton Playwrights Lab.
